Cleaning the glass container
The glass bean container is borosilicate glass — the one part you can wash thoroughly (including the dishwasher, top rack). The body and electronics are not dishwasher-safe.
Check the glass for chips or cracks before each use. If it’s damaged, stop using it and replace it — a cracked container can shatter.
1. Empty and power off
Section titled “1. Empty and power off”Make sure the container is empty, the feeder is off, and the USB-C cable is disconnected.
2. Remove the fixation screw and container
Section titled “2. Remove the fixation screw and container”Undo the fixation screw and lift the glass container off. (If the screw is missing, it’s an M3 × 4 mm screw, or contact support.)
3. Wash
Section titled “3. Wash”Wash with warm soapy water, or put it in the dishwasher on the top rack. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Dry and check
Section titled “4. Dry and check”Dry completely, check again for chips or cracks, then refit and tighten the fixation screw.
The glass is thermal-shock resistant, but avoid extreme temperature swings. Don’t use bleach or harsh chemicals.
Weekly is a good cadence for a deep clean of the glass container.
