First use
Once your feeder is installed on your grinder, here’s the first run.
1. Charge it fully
Section titled “1. Charge it fully”Charge over USB-C before first use (about 3 hours) — see Charging & battery. Then disconnect the USB-C cable; the feeder runs on battery, not while plugged in.
2. Seat the glass container and add beans
Section titled “2. Seat the glass container and add beans”Make sure the glass container is properly seated, then fill it with coffee beans — max 50 g, leaving about 2 cm of space at the top for the beans to move.
3. Power on
Section titled “3. Power on”Press the power button once to start (press again to pause). The LED goes solid in operating mode.
4. Set the feed speed
Section titled “4. Set the feed speed”Turn the speed dial to taste: 0–1 is still, 2–3 is the minimum feed rate, and 4–9 is variable up to maximum. The feeder disc turns counter-clockwise to dispense, and the motor automatically works through any bean stalling.
5. Dial in your grind
Section titled “5. Dial in your grind”With a steadier feed you may notice a more consistent grind — re-check your grind setting and dose and adjust to taste. After 3 minutes idle the feeder sleeps; press the power button to wake it.
A slow-blinking LED means the anti-stall routine is working — give it a moment. If it keeps stalling, clean the feeder disc and check Troubleshooting.
